• 1959, standing.
• Built with funds from the federal Forest Conservation Act at the request of International Paper Co. it is a 60' steel tower made by the Aeromotor Co.. It is not on the summit of Whitcomb Mt. but on a spur to the east. It was used intermittently, but the visibility is limited to the Phillips Brook basin. More recently it was rented as a "honeymoon lodge" by a private recreational group, which has since left the area.
